In Memory of Michele R. Arbetan
Michele Roberta Arbetan passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 62 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of her home.
She was born on April 4, 1961, in LaCrosse, Wisconsin to Samuel and Judith Farlow. She attended college at LaCrosse to become a Laboratory Technician. She spent her entire career (over 40 years) at Lakeview Medical/Marshfield Hospital in Rice Lake, where she made an impact on the lives of so many people.
On September 14, 1985, she married the love of her life, Robert Arbetan. Many would have thought that those two were opposites, but they complimented each other very well. They had two beautiful children, Malorie and David, who kept them busy with attending all their sports events and activities. They enjoyed their time together by attending concerts, especially Rock Fest, going on motorcycle rides and spending time outdoors together.
The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Michele. She was always known for having a green thumb and enjoyed everything about being outside in the sunshine. She was an avid bird watcher and could tell you just about every bird that would land at her feeders. Michele had a heart of gold and didn’t have an ounce of judgment in her body. She was always putting others before herself, even at the very end.
Michele is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Malorie (Ryan); and son David. Her greatest joy was becoming a grandma to her two granddaughters, Natalie and Claire.
A celebration of life is planned on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 12-4 PM at Turtleback Golf Course. (1985 18 ½ St. Rice Lake, WI 54868)
