Michael “Mike” Joseph O’Donnell Age 52, of Holcombe, WI died Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

He left this world knowing he was truly loved and fought so hard to stay with his family. He was born on August 10, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois to Gary “Doc” and Diane (Smith) O’Donnell. Mike graduated from the Cameron High School in 1984 and then attended WITC in Rice Lake in the marketing program. He owned and operated Home Improvement Professionals for over 30 years in the construction business. He loved to go hunting, fishing, golfing, snow boarding, playing pool, kayaking, camping, going to concerts, riding his Harley Davidson and being outdoors in the woods.

He is survived by his significant other, Carla Kodesh of Holcombe, WI; a son, Matthew O’Donnell of Cornell, WI; 2 daughters, Amber (Michael) Jones of Rice Lake and Alex O’Donnell of Ladysmith, WI; 3 grandchildren, AnnaMarie and Dominik Jones and Michael Crouse; his duo partner, Axle; his mother, Diane O’Donnell of Cameron, WI; a sister, Jennifer (Todd) Waggoner of Cameron; 2 half brothers, Tim and Kevin O’Donnell; a half sister, Sarah O’Donnell; many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary “Doc” O’Donnell; his paternal and maternal grandparents; a uncle, Michael O’Donnell and his aunt, Linda Jardine.

A celebration of his life will be held from 4-7PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake with a service to be held at 7PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
