Michael “Mike” LeRoy Morse, 46, of Spooner passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

Mike was born on January 9, 1972 in Park Falls, WI to Kenneth and Louise (Engle) Morse. He received his degree from Nicolet College in Rhinelander and worked at Wagner’s Surveying his entire career. Mike, also known as M² by all his friends, was a carefree soul that loved hunting, fishing and sports. He could always be found shooting trap, throwing darts or shooting pool with friends. He will be remembered for his humor, his love for the outdoors, and his easy-going nature. 

He is survived by his mom Louise (Jesse), brother Korre (Toni), sister Amber (Mark), his best friend/brother Tom, and his love Jenny. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many beloved friends. 

Mike is preceded in death by his dad, sister, paternal and maternal grandparents.

A funeral service for Mike will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11 AM, at The Spooner Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Knox officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 4 until 8 PM at The Spooner Funeral Home and for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lakeview Cemetery in Hertel, WI. A luncheon to follow at Bass Lake Inn. Arrangements were entrusted to The Spooner Funeral Home.
