In Memory of Michael Lundberg
Michael G. Lundberg, age 71, a resident of Cushing passed away on July 21, 2020.
Michael was born on July 7, 1949 in Ada, MN to parents, George and Helen Lundberg.
Michael served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as part of an armored tank unit that patrolled the border between East and West Germany. After returning from the service, he then attended and graduated from Dunwoody Institute. He worked for fifteen years as an engineering design technician for Control Data Corporation and its spin-off company, ETA Systems, in Minneapolis. In 1989 he started his own business, Cadtech Design Services, Inc., that designed and programmed printed circuit boards for electronics manufacturers and medical companies.
On April 17, 1971 he married Alyce Reynolds in Rochester, MN.
Michael enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley, sailing, photography, wood carving and going to classic car shows. He was an avid reader and especially enjoyed volunteer driving for Interfaith Caregivers in Polk County.
He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Paul Erdman.
He is survived by his wife, Alyce; sons, Ryan Lundberg and Andrew Lundberg; brother, Steven Lundberg (Mary Nash-Smith); sisters, Ann Lundberg and Ruth (Wally) Peters; nieces and nephews, Tony Lundberg, Jeremy (Amy) Lundberg, Amanda (Jason) Kukuzke, Robert (Kelly) Peters, Christopher Peters, Pamela (Todd) Erickson, Peter Erdman, Scott (Karen) Reynolds, Kathie (Rick) Brisson and AnnMarie (Scott) Phippen; along with other relatives and friends.
A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Grantsburg.
