Michael Kelly age 74, of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Divine Rehab and Nursing in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Mike was born on January 19, 1948 to Robert and Bette (Eliason) Kelly in St. Paul, Minnesota. On May 29, 1965 Mike was united in marriage to Sharon Werner in Watertown, South Dakota. This marriage was blessed with 6 children.

Mike liked to reminisce about his young life living in Oakdale, MN near Tanner’s Lake. He spent lots of time at his Grandpa Monk’s gas station where his love for old cars began. Mike and his friends would hit-the-road hitchhiking to Cross Lake, MN and once all the way to his uncle Pug’s house in California.

In 1974, Mike, Sharon and the kids moved to Arizona then in 1975 moved to Leadville, Co. Mike worked in the molybdenum mine there for 5 years before moving to St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin.

Mike enjoyed raising cocker spaniels, fishing and spending time on the lake. He especially enjoyed his time with his grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by many.

Mike is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Michelle, Patrick, Joseph (Gina), Michael (Margaret) and Bridget (James); daughter-in-law, Christie; 8 grandchildren, Joshua (Lauren), Kellen, Payton, Catalina, Miles, August, Sara and Molly; 2 great-grandchildren, Mattis and River Kelly; sisters, Hope (Bob) Lorentzen and Barbie Rauchbauer; brother-in-law, Dennis (Debbie) Werner; sister-in-law, Pamela Werner and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Bette Kelly; father-in-law, Edward Werner; mother-in-law, Janell Burke; son, Peter; brothers, Dick Kelly and Billy Rauchbauer; sister, Sara Rauchbauer; sister-in-law, Rosiland Kelly; nephews, Bob and Danny Lorentzen and Eddie Yalowizer.
