Michael Hartung, 61, of Chetek, passed away on March 25, 2019 at Country Terrace in Rice Lake, WI.

Mike was born on January 21, 1958, to Loretta (Templin) and Paul Hartung. He served in the US Army. He held several jobs in the Barron-Chetek area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by; his daughter, April (Mike) Benck, 3 grandchildren, Jeremy, Cali, and Bentley, sisters, Ruby (Greg) Buhrow, Brenda (John) Gregory, and Charlene Snively, and his dad, Paul, along with many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by; his mother, Loretta, and sister, Charlotte. He will be greatly missed by all.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at The Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, Wisconsin on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 10:00 AM.
