Micheal E. Stener, age 77 of Amery, WI, formerly of Clear Lake, WI died on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Amery Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Micheal Edward Stener was born on December 20, 1946, in Amery, WI, the son of Edward & Annabelle (Anderson) Stener. Mike grew up in Clear Lake, WI and graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1965. After graduation he joined the US Army and was honorably discharged after serving a total of 6 years in the WI National Guard. Over the years, Mike worked in numerous jobs, including time at Andersen Windows in Bayport, MN, Whirlpool in Minneapolis, MN, a guard at the Stillwater Prison, Belle Cheese in Amery, WI, Jerome Foods in Barron, WI, Invest Castings Foundry in Osceola, WI, maintenance for Willow Ridge Care Center in Amery, WI and most recently at Walmart in St. Croix Falls, WI.

In his spare time, Mike enjoyed music and dancing. He sang and played bass for many years with his brother’s “Common People Band”. Mike also enjoyed going to thrift stores and garage sales and had an eye for fast cars and motorcycles. He will be sorely missed by his family and many friends.

There will be a Celebration of Mike’s Life from 4 - 7 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Scheuermann Funeral Home in Clear Lake, WI.

Interment will be on a later date at the Clear Lake Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
