Michael “Moose” Joseph Dietz Age 25, of Rice Lake, WI, died Friday, April 15, 2022 in Eau Claire, WI.

He was born on May 22, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois to Paul and Theresa (Weber) Dietz.

Michael attended school in the Rice Lake School District. He loved listening to out of key music, the louder the better, snuggling with his pets, and sharing the occasional popsicle. Michael will be truly missed for everything he had to offer, his smile, the ability to make people laugh, and all the different people that came together for the life of Michael.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa Dietz; 4 siblings, PJ Dietz, Mark (Tia) Dietz, Kelly Dietz (Patrick Harris) and Sarah Dietz (Jacob Gilles).

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Dietz; maternal grandmother, Maria Weber; aunt, Chris Lepard; uncle, Robert Nesmith; cousin, Brandy Brake. Interment will be held in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.

Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is serving the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Ronald McDonald house in Marshfield, WI.
