Merril Nehring Jr. passed away at home on 7-28-23.

He was was born in Osceola, Wisconsin on 8-5-1952 to Merril Sr. and Hannah Nehring of Nye, Wisconsin.

He grew up in Nye and graduated from Osceola High School.

Merril enjoyed the lake life on East Lake (Lotus Lake) for many years. He also enjoyed countless hours in the deer stand up at the cabin. Ice fishing was always a priority. Merril retired from the Polk County Lime Quarry.

Merril was preceded in death by his mother and father Hannah and Merril Nehring, sister Elaine Leisch, sister Janice Nehring and niece Pam Greene.

Merril is survived by his loving wife Sandy Nehring, son Phil Nehring, daughter in law Lee Nehring, grand daughter Jessica (Tryst) Dodge, great grand children Soren and Walter Dodge, grand daughter Amanda Fehlen, great grand children Zane and Wren Gehrke, sister Marilynn Nehring and many many nieces, nephews and in laws.
