In Memory of Menno F. Wiebe


August 25, 1929 - June 11, 2022

Menno F. Wiebe, 92, of Cumberland died Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Autumn Leaves.

He was born August 25, 1929, at Hillsboro, KS in a sod house to Henry and Mary (Friesen) Wiebe.

He was married on September 16, 1951, to Rose Wiebe who preceded him in death on October 2, 2021. Menno moved to Wisconsin in 1961, where he and Rose raised their family on a dairy farm.

He is survived by his nine children: Melvin and Vera Wiebe, Almena, Wisconsin; Yvonne and Douglas Giesbrecht, Brooksville, Mississippi; Elvira and Harlan Buller, Murtaugh, Idaho; Chester and Patricia Wiebe, Buhl, Idaho, presently serving at Berkeley Springs, West Virginia; Mary Wiebe, Buhl, Idaho; Marjorie and David Johnson, Liberty, Kentucky, presently serving in Rochester, Minnesota; Anita and Robert Esau, Filer, Idaho; Lauretta and Darrell Friesen, Barron, Wisconsin; Faith and Lance Mastre, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; 36 grandchildren, 73 great grandchildren; brother, Curtis and Edna Wiebe; sisters-in-law: Marlene Nichols and Donna Wiebe; brother-in-law, Franklin Toews; special nephew John and Maxine Toews and family; and many relatives and friends. Menno was preceded by his wife, Rose; his parents, and siblings: Allen Wiebe, and Justina Giesbrecht.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Gospel Mennonite Church, rural Almena, WI with Ministers Gino Genetin, Arlen Wiggers and Tom Millsap officiating. Burial will be in Bethany Cemetery, rural Almena, WI. Pallbearers are Kevin Wiebe, Gerard Giesbrecht, Charles Johnson, Greg Esau, Lonnie Friesen, Matthew Mastre, Keith Buller, Donovan Wiebe, and Dwight Wiebe. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Gospel Mennonite Church, Rural Almena, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
