Mary Noell Thoreson, age 61, passed away on October 21, 2019. Mary was born September 21, 1958, in Rice Lake WI, to George and JoAnn Erickson. She was married to the love of her life, Randy Thoreson, on August 21, 1982.

Mary graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1977. She attended WITC and found her passion as a Registered Nurse. She found deep meaning in her work as a nurse, always expressing compassion and love for the patients and their families. Her hobbies included crafting, gardening, crocheting, and reading. Mary cherished being a grandma and invited her grandkids over frequently; she enjoyed seeing her family as often as possible. She loved vacations and especially looked forward to riding on the Harley with Randy.

Mary is survived by her husband Randy Thoreson; two daughters: Shannon (Alfred) Dahle and Mary (Kayla) Devorak; three grandchildren: Scott (14), Kylee (13), Andrew (10); her dad, brother Robert (Sofia); sister Rebecca (Willie); many nieces and nephews, and other beloved relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her mother, two sons, Daniel and Jacob, and a nephew Elijah.

A celebration of life for Mary Thoreson will be held at 4 PM Friday, October 25, 2019, at Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake. Visitation will be from 3-4 PM. Burial will be at Nora Cemetery following a light meal.
