In Memory of Mary Lendobeja


June 7, 1946 - October 24, 2021

Mary Lynn Lendobeja Age 75, of Rice Lake, WI, passed away Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.

Mary Lynn was born on June 7, 1946, the daughter of Charles G and Cathryn (Hansen) Jachim in Menomonie, WI.

Her family moved from the Menomonie area to Rice Lake in 1953. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School through the 8th grade year and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 1964. She attended Winona Business College following high school. On January 4 of 1969, Mary Lynn was united in marriage to the love of her life, Peter Lendobeja in Minneapolis, MN. She retired in December of 2011 following a 30 years career at Lakeview Medical Center of Rice Lake (later Marshfield Medical Center) as Executive Secretary to the administrative staff. Following her retirement she volunteered her services with the Auxiliary Staff at Rice Lake Centers Joint Replacement Camp along with other retired LMC employees. She really enjoyed retirement with her numerous crafting interests - shared with an active group of “crafting sisters” and their numerous weekend craft retreats. Mary Lynn enjoyed sharing her love of crafting with her granddaughters in card and jewelry making, sewing, knitting, decorative box making to mention a few. She loved to spend time with her family and grandkids at the lake, swimming, waterskiing, tubing and pontooning. She enjoyed spending time in supporting her granddaughter's endeavors of band and choral concerts, contests, sporting games and tournaments.

Mary Lynn is lovingly survived by her husband, Peter; two sons, Paul (Michele) and Matthew; three granddaughters, Kara, Kaitlyn and Tina; siblings, Barbara Robinson of Chippewa Falls, Charles Jr. (Lila) Jachim of Lakeland, MN, Deborah (Dale) Reckner of Stillwater, MN; brother-in-law, Paul (Jan) Lendobeja of Brainerd, MN; three nieces and seven nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles G and Cathryn Jachim; as well as a brother-in-law, Jack Robinson.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12PM Friday, November 5, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 111 W. Marshall St., Rice Lake, Father Phil Juza officiating, with interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM Friday, November 5 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake, WI is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Marshfield Medical Center Auxiliary Rice Lake and to the needy children of Barron County.
