Mary L. Montgomery, age 76, of Prairie Farm, WI died Thursday, December 1st, 2022 at her home.

She was born October 14th, 1946 to William & Lillian (Lafferty) Juntunen at Rice Lake, WI.

She was married to LaVerne Peterson & together they had 3 children. She later married Leroy Montgomery on August 25th, 1977 at Streator, IL. Mary worked as a payroll manager for a General Hospital in Chicago for 7 years & later as an office manager for Data Documents in Bloomington, IL for 15 years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Leroy on January 23rd, 2019 & her brother: John Leroy Juntunen. She is survived by her children: Donna LaBarge & Deann Lumley both of St. Cloud, MN & Douglas Peterson of Aitkin, MN, grandchildren & great grandchildren, several Montgomery step-children & step-grandchildren, siblings: Ida Peterson of Clayton, WI, Verna Gillen of Des Moines, IA, William (Rhonda) Juntunen of Barron, Connie (Ken) Miller of Elko, NV & Wayne (Annie) Juntunen of Citrus Springs, FL, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas with Rev. Ron Matthews officiating. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday.
