Mary Jo Vogt, 59, of Cumberland died after a courageous battle with cancer, Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield.

She was born January 14, 1964, in Comstock, WI to Edgar and Geraldine (Joyce) Vogt.

Mary was a spunky and compassionate woman. She LOVED her cats, spending time with family, going on adventures with daughter, going to garage sales, gardening and watching the Packers play. Mary especially enjoyed and cherished spending time with her granddaughter, Kelsey and son-in-law, Nick. Anytime that they could cause mischief together was a wonderful time. Mary was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Amber Hirsch (Nick Schick); granddaughter, Kelsey Schick; brother, Steven (Peggy) Vogt; and many loving friends. Mary was preceded in death by son, Dylan Catlin; parents, Edgar and Geraldine Vogt; and brother, David Vogt.

Special thank you to everyone who kept Mary in their thoughts and prayers, and those who took time out of their day to stop and see if Mary needed any help with anything.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Christ Lutheran Church - Pipe Lake in Cumberland with Pastor Steve Miller officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM - 11 AM.

Skinner Funeral Home of Cumberland is serving the family.
