December 27, 1949 - May 18, 2018

Mary Ellen Slayton, 68, of Stone Lake, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, with her family by her side.

Mary was born on December 27, 1949 to Victor and Minnie (Olson) Losey.  She graduated from Spooner High School and attended Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College for bookkeeping.  She was united in marriage to Charles Arthur Slayton on September 25, 1971 in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Mary is survived by: her children; Kevin Slayton, Sandy (Dennis) Metzger, Norma (Dale) Rohlfing, and Susan (Tony) Meyer, grandchildren; Mary (Jonathan) Werntz, Rachel Larson, Charles E. Slayton, William E. Slayton, Dennis Metzger, Jr., Arthur Meyer, and Marie Meyer, great-grandchildren, Aiden and Aubrey Werntz, sister, Marliss Jean (Vernon) Robarge, and brother, Victor C. Losey.  Mary was preceded in death by; her parents, and her husband, Charles A., Slayton.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 11:00 AM at The Stone Lake Wesleyan Church with Pastor Tim Young officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.
