Martha Gertrude Dugan, 97, of Shell Lake died Monday, August 5, 2019 at her home. She was born November 11, 1921 in Rockwood, IL to Jacob and Della (Boyd) Rader.  She was married in Chicago, IL on January 20, 1945 to Charles Fredrick Dugan who preceded her in death in April of 1993.

She is survived by her daughters: Pat Fabrick of Cape Girardeau, MO; Anita Dugan of Shell Lake, WI; grandchildren: Darin (Jackie) Fabrick of Portland, OR, Cailen (Jennifer) Rock of Eau Claire, WI, Jenna Rock of Eden Prairie, MN; great-granddaughter, Chloe Fabrick of Portland, OR; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Charles "Charlie"; daughter, Kathy Dugan; sons-in-law: David Rock, and Lane Fabrick; her parents, Jacob and Della Rader; her siblings: George, Wilber, Ann, Lena, Charlesa, Verna, Paul, Jake, Jim, Dorothy; and infant sisters: Mildred and Leona Mae.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM August 21, 2019 at Salem Lutheran Church in Shell Lake with Chaplain Lisa Mikula officiating. Burial will be at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI at a later date. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that any memorials be sent to either the Washburn County Humane Society or the Lakeview Medical Center Hospice.
