Marlyn John Trantow, 87 years and 9 months, of Frederic, WI and formerly of Milltown. He was born to Sylvia and Ervin Trantow of St. Paul, MN on July 12, 1931. They moved to Rest Point Resort on Bone Lake in 1946. He graduated from Milltown High School in 1949.

He married Gladys Nelson of Milltown in 1953 and they lived in Missouri, Illinois and Wisconsin - six children were born to this union. Now Marlyn is with his three sons, Erving, Brent and Greg; his Mother and Dad; his brother, Lee Roy; and his dear sister, Arlene.

Left to mourn him is his wife, Gladys; three daughters, Debbie of Milltown, Connie and her husband Wally Rich III of Luck, April and her husband George Nutt of Cumberland; and four grandchildren, Wally IV, Kylie, Nicole and Hunter; brother-in-law, Vern Olson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harvey and Ruby Nelson; sister-in-law, Mary Ellen Quist; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Rowe Funeral Home in Frederic on Wednesday, April 17th at 12:00 p.m.

Arrangements are entrusted to Rowe Funeral Home and the Northwest Wisconsin Cremation Center in Milltown.
