Marjorie LuRene Soderberg Friberg passed from this life to eternal life on August 3, 2021 in Spooner, Wisconsin. She was 95 years old.

Marjorie was born on June 6, 1926 to John Soderberg and LuRene (Skaife) Soderberg.

She and Arvid T. Friberg, Jr. were married for 65 years before his death in 2011. Marjorie lived the entirety of her life, except for the few weeks preceding her death, on the family farm in West Sweden Township, Wisconsin.

Marjorie is survived by her sons, Jay Samuel (Ellen) of Jacksonville, Florida, Kay John (Joy) of Frederic, Wisconsin, and Daniel Arvid (Kathleen) of Roseville, Minnesota. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Peter, Andrea Lundberg (Mark), Jacob (Lindsey), Sarah Magliano (Mario), Karin Bauer (Carl), and Christian. One granddaughter, Heidi Stone (Nathan), predeceased her. Marjorie is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, Tino, Koral, Ezekial, Abigail, Cecil, August, Isabelle, Tegan, Jeremiah, Max, Kezia, Selah, Brisa and Simeon. She is also survived by her older sister, Françoise (Don) Jackson of Edina, Minnesota, and nieces, Susan Jackson and Marilyn “Jax” Robinson (Daniel Spiegel).

Marjorie was a long-time member of Calvary Covenant Church in Alpha, Wisconsin. A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Calvary Covenant Church. Interment at the Grace Lutheran Church cemetery in West Sweden will take place at a later date.
