Marion B. Steffe, 89, of Turtle Lake, WI passed quietly from this life on February 19th, 2019 at the Golden Age Manor in Amery, WI. She was born June 1st, 1929 to John and Helen (Hellwinckle) Rieck in Pipestone, MN. She married Donald C. Steffe, on March 14, 1948. They moved to Turtle Lake in 1985. Donald passed away in December of 1994.

Marion worked as an assistant at the Turtle Lake Public Library from the mid - 90's to 2013. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her 3 children: Sharon Ann (Richard) DeLong of Almena, WI, Michael (Rebecca) Steffe of Ridgeland, and Bruce Steffe of Turtle Lake, WI; 9 grandchildren: John, Darcie, Sheree, Michael, Jessie, Kaleb, Keinn, Kyler, and Donald; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; her brother: Larry Rieck of Pipestone, MN; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; and her brother, Marvin Rieck.

Funeral services will be held from 4-7 PM on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Skinner Funeral Home - Turtle Lake. There will be a private family burial at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
