Marcella “Marcy” Mae Eder, 81, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Johanna Shores Senior Living and Memory Care in Arden Hills, MN.

Marcy was born at the Habel Farm in Pleasant Valley, WI February 17, 1941, to William and Ellarene Eder.

Marcy was the youngest of seven children and went to school in Centuria and Milltown, WI. She then moved to the cities and attended the Minneapolis School of Business. Her first job was a keypunch operator at Gopher News in Golden Valley, MN. She then moved to a job at Johnson Screens in New Brighton, MN as a keypunch and later moved into engineering and helped in the shop. After 40+ years Marcy retired and devoted her time to volunteering at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton, MN. Marcy was very active in her faith and served for years in the circle of women.

Marcy worked so hard for her children. Loved them above all along with her grandchildren.

Marcy is survived by her daughter, Michelle “Missy” and son, Andrew “Andy”, grandchildren, Brian, Derek, Cora, Logan, Alba, Tristian, and Charlotte, nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Marcella is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ellarene Eder, brothers, and sisters.

A memorial mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Brighton, MN on Thursday, January 12, 2023, at 11:00 A.M.  835 2nd Avenue NW, New Brighton, MN 55712.

Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Centuria, WI.

The Kolstad Family Funeral Home in Centuria, WI has been entrusted with arrangements.
