In Memory of Lyle H. Anderson
Lyle Harold Anderson, age 72 of Amery, Wisconsin passed away on February 2, 2024 at Amery Memory Care.
Lyle was born to Leo and Lena Anderson on June 28, 1956 in Osceola, Wisconsin.
He grew up on a farm near Amery and attended school at the Wagon Landing School through the fifth grade. He then attended school in Amery, where he graduated in 1969. After graduation, Lyle went on to welding school in Rice Lake, WI. Shortly after finishing welding school, Lyle was offered a job at Wanderoos Cheese Factory. When he left the cheese factory, he started working at Northern Metals in Osceola. Northern Metals was later bought by Polaris Industries and Lyle was hired by Polaris. Lyle continued to work for Polaris until his retirement in 2010.
Family was important to Lyle, and he was always ready to help family and friends, or anyone else, who might need help. He enjoyed deer hunting and liked to collect guns. Lyle also loved farming and being in the field, and he would buy farm equipment to be used on the farm. He also had a big collection of farm toys.
Lyle is survived by 4 brothers; Roger, Dennis (Iris), Arlie (Pam), and Ed (Sandy); 3 sisters, Diane (Brent) Frey, Mary (Wendell) Olson, and Kay; and 10 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Lena Anderson.
Lyle will be remembered for his kind heart. Although he didn’t always voice it, his love for his family could be shown through his actions and expressions. His family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Amery Memory Care.
A visitation for Lyle will take place on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 1 to 3 pm at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery, Wisconsin. Funeral Services will take place on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00 am at First Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, Wisconsin, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. A private family burial will take place at a later date at Wagon Landing Cemetery in Amery.
