Louis Frank Talik, age 79, passed away Friday, July 19, 2019 at his residence in Hayward, Wisconsin.  He was born August 10, 1939 in Chicago, IL, the son of Walter and Anna (Krzywda) Talik. 

Louis proudly served his country in the Wisconsin National Guard in Hayward.  He worked in concrete construction most his life and along with his partners were highly sought after to create beautiful fireplaces across Northern Wisconsin.  Louis was avid ice fisherman and also enjoyed snowmobiling and ATVing.  When he was younger he loved spending summers with his aunt berry picking in Michigan.  He was a good cook and had an amazing recipe for wild rice. 

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Catherine Thompson of Madison; and his many nieces, nephews and dear friends, especially Sean and Elizabeth Stone and their children. 

He is preceded in death by his parents.

A private interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
