Louis Franklin Martin Jr., 56 years old, passed away after a lengthy illness on December 18, 2023, at Marshfield Hospital Eau Claire, WI. Frank was born at Hayward Hospital on April 9, 1967, and resided in Minong, WI most of his life.

Frank is survived by his two princesses, daughters Alexandria Martin of Eau Claire, and Abby Martin of Gordon, WI. His father Louis Sr. of Sun Lakes, AZ; mothers, Lay Martin and Kelle Boese of Minong; sisters, Karen (Rick) Brennan of Deep River, IA, and Mary (Jerry) Christman of Trego; brothers, Ronald Martin of Eau Claire, Chris (Sandy) Martin of Lakeland, FL; special # 3 Dan Thompson and Uncle “Henry” who was like a dad to him. Preceded in death by his grandparents John and Sarah Martin, Amos and Mary Ann Barber.

Frank will be remembered as a hardworking, fun loving, caring person. If someone was in need, he was there to help no matter what, when, or wherever. His smile and joking manner will never be forgotten by his many, many relatives and friends. He doted on his two princesses and lived for them with fishing, camping, and their little excursions here, there, and everywhere.

A memorial service will be held at the Spooner Funeral Home on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 1:00 PM with a visitation a half hour prior.

Honorary pall bearers are Dan Thompson, John Caracci, Lisa Pagorek, and Robin Hanley.
