Mrs. Lotus V. Nevin, 90, of Cumberland died on Thursday, October 12th, at home surrounded by family.

Born in Prairie Farm, Wisconsin. She went to Prairie Farm School, where she graduated the eighth grade. She then spent her life as a farm wife/farm help and mother to her children. Mrs. Nevin was also a member of the Barron County Paul Revere Homemakers Committee for many years.

Preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Emma Peterson, nine of her siblings. Her brother Arthur, her sister Evelyn, her sister Olga, her brother Wesley, her brother Gerhard, her sister Rosella, her sister Elaine, her sister Verla, and her brother Howard. She also was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Nevin and their son Lynn Nevin.

Survivors include her sister Mary Lou of Apple Valley, MN. She is survived by her daughter Lori Nevin, of Cumberland and her son Craig(Sheri) Nevin, of Barron. Her grandchildren Torrie and Tiffani Fowler, and Jordan and Drew Nevin. She also left behind many memories with her nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in laws Lillian Nevin of Barron, Janice Nevin of Star Prairie, Elaine of Sioux Falls, SD, and Glorianne of Corona Del Mar, CA.

A service will be held at Noon on Saturday, October 21nd, at Skinner Funeral Home in Cumberland, WI. Visitation from 10am to 12pm and funeral service will be held immediately after. Burial is at a later date.
