June 6, 1927 - June 12, 2019

Lois Dell (Sederlund) Moody, 92, of Clam Falls, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Frederic Nursing and Rehab.

Lois was born June 6, 1927 in Lewis, WI to David and Melva Dene Sederlund. During High school Lois worked at the drug store in Frederic, WI at the soda fountain where she met Donald Moody. Shortly after meeting they eloped and were married in Pine City, MN on October 17, 1946. From their marriage came 3 children, Rodney, Darcel, and Larry.

They spent 7 years in Alaska where she worked at the Government experimental farm, feeding animals. They then moved to Bloomer, WI where they ran a bar, restaurant, and hotel. They then moved to Clam Falls, WI where they had a farm. They also had a farm in Milltown, WI and in later years they returned to Clam Falls, WI to retire. One of her many hobbies was raising a huge garden. She loved her family and hosting family gatherings where she would spoil them with her famous cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed spending countless hours in her flower and vegetable garden. She also spent time making and repairing clothing for family and neighbors. She spent many hours with her cousin, Mickey which resulted in many giggles and reminiscing.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Galen; parents, David and Melva Dene Sederlund; infant daughter, Darcel; son, Larry; and husband, Donald.

Lois leaves to celebrate her memory her son, Rodney (Jackie) Moody; daughter-in-law, Donna Moody of Clam Falls, WI; grandchildren, Shannon, Chris, Jason, Jessica, Jody, and Jeanine; 23 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 21st at 2 p.m. at Clam Falls Lutheran Church.

We the family would like to thank Inclusa staff, Frederic Nursing and Rehab, and St. Croix Hospice staff for all your tender loving care.
