In Memory of Logan DeMarr


January 17, 2003 - March 7, 2022

Logan S. DeMarr, age 19, of Lac Courte Oreilles, died Monday, March 7, 2022, at Spooner Health System.

Logan Sebastian DeMarr was born January 17, 2003, in Hayward, WI, the son of Corrine DeMarr and Gerald Thompson Jr. Logan or Loaggy, as he was known to everyone who loved him was a very quick minded and a creative soul. He could fix anything and was the greatest tinker or repair guy. If you had anything with a motor that needed fixed, Logan was the guy to see. He also was an avid hunter and fisherman and was known far and wide as the Bass Master. You could always find Logan outdoors.

He is survived by his parents Corrine and Gerald; brothers Jacob Thompson, Robert J. Hammond II, Neal Varley, Brandon Warwick & Seahmus Thompson; sisters Lashanda May, Brittney Warwick, Brooke Thompson & Chole Thompson; many nephews, nieces, aunts & uncles.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandparents Raymond and Mary DeMarr; several uncles, aunts & cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 11, 2022, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in New Post. Father Gregory Hopefl will officiate with music provided by Sister Felissa Zander. Burial will be in New Post Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, March 10th at New Post Community Center.

Honorary casket bearers will be Marion Beecher, Maurice Corbine Jr., William DeMarr, Mary Jane Dust, Robert J. Hammond, Jacob Thompson and Neal Varley.

Casket bearers will be Shawn DeMarr, Jesse Hanlon, Jayson Tahmalwash Jr., Gerald Thompson Sr., Justin Thompson and Dave White Jr.
