Linda J. Peterson passed away at her home in Spooner on September 27, 2019. She was born in Shell Lake on August 13, 1951. She graduated from Shell Lake High School in 1969 and attended vocation school in Rice Lake where she studied data processing. She worked in the Twin Cities area for many years and moved back to Spooner in 1995 to be closer to family and friends. She worked as a legal secretary in Spooner.

Her parents, Virgil and Dorothy Peterson preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Kathy Klassen and her brother-in-law, Bruce Klassen and many extended family members.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 5 - 7 PM at the Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 11 am at the Lakeview United Methodist Church in Shell Lake with a one hour visitation prior to the service.
