Linda Cheryl Geater, age 81 of Osceola passed away peacefully on Friday October 4, 2024 of natural causes.

She was born the daughter of Albert and Bernice Ludden on July 27, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA. She grew up in Vinton, Iowa and graduated from Washington High School in 1961. On January 19 1962 she married Ralph D Geater. They moved to Osceola and built their forever home. Linda was very devoted spiritually she loved to spread the word of God through her singing and by quoting scriptures. Linda enjoyed getting together with friends and family to do activities such as fishing, traveling, snowmobiling, riding motorcycles, gardening, birdwatching and being outside with nature surrounding her. Linda would brighten up any room with her cheerful smile. She had a wonderful sense of humor and was so smart.

She proceeded in death by her husband Ralph. Leaves behind children Jon (Donna) Geater, Julie (Roy) Ericksen, Joy Johns, Gayeleen (Devante) DeTomaso. Grandchildren Kayla, Cheri, Kyle, Kylie, Jonah, Kayeleen, Conner, Alex and 11 Great Grandchildren

She will be missed by her family and great friends.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held on October 12, 2024 from 1pm - 6pm at the family home.
