Lilah Rae Dougard, 70, of Shell Lake died Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. She was born October 24, 1947 in Madison, WI to Ernest and Maude (Decker) Parker. She graduated from Madison East High School in 1965. Lilah enjoyed gardening, collecting antiques, warm Old Milwaukee, Fox News, cowboy movies and playing smear. The last number of years, she and her devoted companions, Larry and Festus enjoyed many road trips.

She is survived by her daughters: Content Weber of Shell Lake, Gretchen (Kevin) Murphy of New Orleans, LA, and Hannah Swanson of Fort Wayne, IN; grandchildren: Josh, Ashley, Ariana, Miranda, Deron, Levi, Brennan, William, Parker and Charlie; great grandchildren: Sean, Violet and Max; sisters: Linda (Gene) Hagen of Imperial, MO and Sally (Buck) Elder of Steelville, MO; her loyal canine companion, Festus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Susie Singer; her son, Joseph Deadman and her companion, Larry Fogelberg.

A memorial gathering will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, August 2, 2018 Skinner Funeral Home in Shell Lake with a time to share memories at 6:00.
