Leroy J. Booth, 95, passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Eagle Ridge Senior Living in Osceola, Wisconsin with loving family at his side. Leroy was born on August 24, 1927, in Polk County, Wisconsin, the son of George and Nellie Booth.

Leroy married Marjorie Johnson in 1947. Leroy and Marjorie had 11 children together before Marjorie passed away in 1968. Years later Leroy married Stella Olson and had another child. Leroy was also married to Carol Zahnow until she passed away in 2010.

While living in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Leroy worked at Northern Pump in the Twin Cities for many years while raising his family. After the death of his first wife, Leroy moved to Balsam Lake and then retired from Dresser Trap Rock Quarry in Dresser, Wisconsin.

Leroy enjoyed many travels to Arizona through his retirement years. Jackpot Junction was one of his favorite places to visit. He loved playing the card game 500 with a lot of friends throughout his years.

Leroy is preceded in death by his wife Marjorie, and wife Carol, son(s) Howard Booth, Richard Booth, Kim Booth, and grandson Tadd George.

Leroy is survived by his children Judy (Jerry) Wood, Robert Booth, Vicky Lynn Howe, Rodney Booth, Jeff Booth, Nancy Holmgren, Darrell Booth, Kevin Booth, and Jamie Booth, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Leroy will be laid to rest at a graveside service on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Wolf Creek, Wisconsin. Please join the family for a light lunch and continued fellowship at the Dresser Pizzeria following the service.
