Leon “Lee” Edward Olszewski, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at his home in rural New Auburn.

Lee was born April 21, 1945 in Chicago, IL to Michael S and Anna Olszewski. He spent most of his childhood life growing up on Fish Lake during the summers at a family resort.

Lee worked at American Electric, Jenny O Turkey Store, and Key Care.

Lee married Debbie Selkow on September 15, 1973, in Chetek, WI. He enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, deer hunting, and kayaking. Lee was also an avid model airplace flyer. He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-granddaughter.

He is preceded in death by his parents Michael and Anna Olszewski, sister Geraldine, brothers Marion and Conrad, and son-in-law Andrew "Andy" Amundson.
Lee leaves to celebrate his memory, his wife Debbie, son Michael, daughter Aspen Amundson, grandchildren Cleo McKinney, Destiny (Donnie) Ekstrom, Leon, Jasmine, Violet and Michael Olszewski, and Andrew, Carlisle, and Bianca Amundson, and great-granddaughter Willow White, as well as many other loving family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 3, 2022, at his residence in New Auburn, WI.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Family Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
