In Memory of LaVonne J. Reissner


March 25, 1938 - April 23, 2022

LaVonne J. Reissner, age 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at Vitacare Living in Spooner, WI.

She was born on March 25, 1938, in Osseo, WI, the daughter of Orrin and Jennie (Eide) Indrebo.

She was united in marriage to Ronald Reissner on November 1, 1957, in Osseo and made their home in Hayward, WI.

LaVonne attended Osseo High School, graduating in 1956. She went on to Eau Claire Technical College and had a forty-year career as a bookkeeper for various businesses. LaVonne retired in 2001 to spend time with her grandchildren and travel with her daughter, Laramie. She enjoyed singing with the church choir and the Hayward Community Choir and was a proud member of the Eastern Star. She loved bowling with her husband and with the ladies on their designated nights. She also enjoyed painting, crocheting, knitting and was a talented seamstress. LaVonne and Ron spent many years helping to run concessions for the Hayward Hawks baseball games, where her barbeque sandwiches were famous. She would do anything for her grandchildren and often shared her love of gardening with them.

She is survived by her children, Laramie Reissner of Hayward, WI, Reid Reissner of St. Francis, WI, and Ryan (Heather) Reissner of Luck, WI; her grandchildren, Christopher, Blake, Taylor, Zoe, and Maia; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Bonita Shaw of Eau Claire, WI; her sisters-in-law, Patricia Indrebo of Osseo, WI and Maxine Indrebo of Rice Lake, WI; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, LaVonne is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald; her sister, Imby Curry; her brothers, Lyle, Vern, Richard and her twin brother, Larry.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at the Hayward Wesleyan Church, 10655 Nyman Avenue in Hayward where visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service. Pastor Tim Young will officiate. A luncheon will follow the service at the church. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hayward.
