Laura Ricci Ficocello, 90, of Cumberland passed away peacefully on January 5, 2021.

Laura was born October 14, 1930 in Cumberland, WI to Nick and Patricia (Manallo) Ricci. She married Richard Ficocello in Reno, NV on December 29, 1951. They settled in Minneapolis, MN where they lived and worked until they retired from FMC and Honeywell. Laura returned to her roots 21 years later where she built a house on Norwegian Bay of Beaver Dam Lake; the same lot that held the family cabin for so many years. Laura enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, and fishing with her family. Most importantly Laura’s greatest joy was her family.

Laura is survived by her daughter Linda (Chuck), son Tony (Trish), and son Nick (Rory); brother Nick (Bev), brother Tom (Dayle) and sister Helen, 8 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad, mom, husband, brother Albert and sisters, Dorie Chartraw and Jean Towne.

Our family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Cumberland Care and Rehab and St Croix Hospice Care. Due to current conditions, our family is looking forward to a celebration of Mom's life at a later date.
