Larry Russel Imhoff, born on July 2, 1940, in Denver, Colorado, to Russel "Hut" and Rosella (Shimic) Imhoff, passed away peacefully at home in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, surrounded by family on January 3, 2025.

He was 84 years old. Larry was raised on the family farm and graduated from Guide Rock High School in Guide Rock, Nebraska. He pursued further education at Nebraska Vocational Technical School in Milford, Nebraska, which laid the foundation for his career at IBM. His professional journey was briefly interrupted when he was drafted into the U.S. Army, where he served honorably for two years, spending most of his service in Germany. After his discharge, Larry returned to IBM and continued a distinguished career spanning 33 years. Even after retirement, his expertise remained in demand as he worked as a contract employee for various companies across the country.

On June 14, 1965, Larry married Diane Winebar. Together, they had two children, Scott and Brooke. His career took their family to several locations, including Rolla and Columbia, Missouri; Kasson, Minnesota; and New Alresford, England. Larry and Diane divorced in 1989. On July 31, 1999, Larry married Marybeth Clark. Together, they shared a love of sailing and traveling the world. They divided their time between La Crosse, Wisconsin, and Stuart, Florida, for many years.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kevin Imhoff. He is survived by his wife, Marybeth Clark of Rice Lake; his son, Scott (Kristine) Imhoff of Shoreview, Minnesota; his daughter, Brooke Imhoff of Blaine, Minnesota; stepdaughter, Heather (Bill Slakey) Clark of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, New Mexico; stepson, Tobi (Beth) Clark of Sarona, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and brother, Duane (Donna) Imhoff of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Larry's adventurous spirit, curiosity, and quick wit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those he leaves behind. The family plans to have a Memorial Gathering for Larry later in the year.
