Lawrence B. "Larry" Fogelberg, 68, of Shell Lake died Friday, January 26, 2018 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital. He was born August 11, 1949 in Shell Lake, WI to Lawrence and Doris (Erickson) Fogelberg, was raised in Barronett and graduated from Shell Lake High School. Larry drove ambulance for 2 years in Milwaukee while training as a diesel mechanic. He was married in Milwaukee, WI on April 12, 1969 to Aloha Nowling. He earned employment with Chicago and Northwestern Railroad, working in Superior for many years, but retiring in Prescott in 2009, finally moving to Shell Lake. Larry was an avid hunter, fisherman, loved being outdoors, but also enjoyed spending time socializing with his many friends, family and neighbors. 

He is survived by sons: Scott Fogelberg of Spooner and Dennis (Katie) Fogelberg of Barronett; daughters: DeDee (the late Tom) Atol of Duluth, MN, Veronica (John) Burgraff of Foxboro; 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Lucas, Blake, Lily, David, Casey, Anna, Bo, Aspen and Paige; 10 great grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Gloria) Fogelberg of Shell Lake, Gary (Bonnie) Fogelberg of Barronett and William (Debbie) Fogelberg of Barronett; many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Aloha on January 4, 2009; son, David Michael; brothers, Dennis and Mark.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday; February 2, 2018 at Barronett Lutheran Church with Pastor Todd Ahneman officiating. Burial will be in Lake Side Cemetery, Barronett, WI. Pallbearers are Scott Fogelberg, Dennis Fogelberg, Bill Fogelberg, Bob Fogelberg, Gary Fogelberg and David Fogelberg. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday at the Skinner Funeral Home, Shell Lake and one hour prior to service on Friday at the church.
