Lanita Guion Bergquist , 89, died Monday, September 17, 2018, at Water's Edge Care Center. She was born July 5, 1929 in Spooner, WI.

She was married in Spooner on May 19, 1949, to Karl Bergquist who preceded her in death on June 19, 2008. 

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Zach of Sommerville, SC; sons: Arlan (Diane) Bergquist of Chippewa Falls, Dean (Nancy) Bergquist of Shell Lake; 5 grandchildren: Heidi, Molly, Becky, Michael and Bobby; 4 great-grandchildren: Isaac, Eli, Sage and Lane.

Funeral services and burial will be held at Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 2 pm Friday, September 21, 2018, with Pastor Sue Odegard officiating.  

Funeral arrangements were handled by Skinner Funeral Home of Shell Lake.
