In Memory of Kurt E. Lamberg
Kurt Edward Lamberg, age 62 passed away on Thursday, May 30th, 2024. He was born on September 28th, 1961 to Kay Eileen Lamberg and Edward Maxwell Lamberg as their third of four children and only baby boy.
He was a 1979 graduate from Spooner High School. He worked as a team member at Louisiana Pacific in Hayward, WI displaying hard work, comradery, and badgering with his buddies. Kurt spent his best life in the outdoors with his dogs, hunting, fishing, rooting for the Steelers with his son, Christopher and waiting for his next adventure. Be it to the Colorado mountains to visit his children or to a beach where he could soak up the sun and drink an ice-cold beer. His heart was that of a giant and he truly touched more lives than he knew. He will be deeply missed.
Kurt is survived by his mother, Kay Lamberg, sisters, Robin Ermer, Lauri Perlick, Kristi Gasper; children, Joshua Edward Lamberg, Ashley Elizabeth Lamberg, Megan Brittany Lamberg, Christopher Kaleb Lamberg and granddaughter, Maisynn Reverie Putnam, who knew him as Grampy; and many in laws, cousins, family members and dear friends.
All who are invited to Kurt’s celebration of life, graveside on June 29th, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Spooner Cemetery, 7309 W Maple St, Spooner, WI followed by a memorial for him and his profound love of Jamaica at the Perlick residence at 12614 N Pfeifer Rd, Hayward, WI from 5:00 pm- 9:00 ish. Jamaican themed attire is encouraged and please bring a lawn chair.
We ask that you take a moment to hug your child, grandchild, brother, sister, family, friend or walk in the woods for a moment, an hour, or a day. Time waits for no one. And don’t forget, as Kurt would say, “Don’t worry. Be happy.”
