In Memory of Kenneth G. Gunderson
July 15, 1943 - August 11, 2018
Kenneth "Ole" Gunderson, age 75, a resident of rural Webster, died peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 11, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Kenneth Gerald Gunderson was born on July 15, 1943, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to parents Gunder and Ella (Geer) Gunderson. He attended and graduated from Chippewa Falls Senior High School. On March 5, 1966, he was united in marriage to Sharon Rud in Eau Claire. The couple lived in Chippewa Falls where Ken worked as a Carpenter for Market and Johnson for 32 years, retiring in 2003. After his retirement, the couple moved to their cabin in Webster, Wisconsin and made it their permanent residence.
Ken is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sharon, son Dan (Kim) Gunderson of Spooner, daughter in law Ronnie Gunderson of St. Paul, MN, grandchildren: Zac (Julie) Gunderson of Eau Claire, WI, JT Gunderson of Spooner, WI, Rob Gunderson of Cambridge, MN, Keegan Gunderson of Spooner, WI, brothers: Duane "Duke" Gunderson and Tom "Ike" Gunderson both of Chippewa Falls, WI, nephews Jerry (Lynn) Gunderson and John Sipple, niece Connie Sipple, and other extended family and friends.
Ken is preceded in death by his parents, son John, brother Jim, and sister Gerrie Sipple.
A celebration of Ken "Ole" Gunderson's life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018, from 11-2pm, at his home.
