Keith James Kyncl, 80, of Spooner, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Vita Care Living, in Spooner.

Keith, “Jim”, was born in Kenosha, WI on December 11, 1942, to Bette L. (Lucille Elizabeth Anderson) and Joseph E. Kyncl.

He relocated to his beloved Northwoods in Spooner in the late 1960’s. He was an avid sportsman, and loved hunting, fishing, his ATVs, and gardening. He loved nature, family, and animals, who were simply additional members of his family. Some of his beloved pets were Penny, Muckwa, Sheba 1, 2, & 3, and Spooky.

He worked with his father and uncle in the family business, Badger Automatic Products in Kenosha for a time, but was soon to discover his interest in taxidermy and paint by number kits, as well as etching gun stocks.

Jim is survived by his sister, Jeanne (Karen Jeanne) Brush, his niece, Susan (William) DeBus, and his nephew, Jason Brush.

Per Jim’s request, no local services were held.
