Kathryn “Kathy” Ashlin Martens Age 70, of Rice Lake, WI, died Thursday, September 15, 2022 in Barron, WI.

She was born on September 9, 1952 in Rice Lake to Leo and Henrietta “Blanche” (Couture) Ashlin.

Kathy attended school in Rice Lake and loved watching TV, her favorite show was Law and Order and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by a daughter, Angie Navarro; a granddaughter, Tiffany; 11 siblings, Bob (Nikki) Ashlin, Bill Ashlin, Dave (Lyn) Ashlin, Mary (Marv) Thompson, Ron Ashlin, John Ashlin, Jim Ashlin, Bruce (DeAnn) Ashlin, Barb (Jeff) Miller, Kevin (Kerri) Ashlin and Anita Ashlin; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Henrietta “Blanche” Ashlin; a brother, Henry Ashlin.

A private family celebration of life will be held. Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is handling the services.

The family would like to thank Monroe Manor for all the care that they gave to her.

She loved her caregivers and really enjoyed living there for so many years.
