Kathleen “Kathy” Anne Plocharski Age 73, of Birchwood, WI, died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 10, 1951 in Illinois to John and Theresa (Rewers) Wallace. After she graduated from High School she was married to William “Bill” Plocharski on March 27, 1971 in Chicago Heights, IL. Kathy worked for Viking Pallet Company as an Office Manager for over 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Plocharski; 3 children, Jeff Plocharski (Rajna Morissette), Julie (Rob) Petersen and Joe (Megan) Plocharski; 7 granddaughters, MaKayla (Henry), Calissa, Hailey, Sydney, Danica, Charley and Bridget; a great grandson, Nash; 2 sisters, MaryAnn and Jackie; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa Wallace.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2PM Saturday, September 14, 2024 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Birchwood, Father Isaiah Schick officiating, with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Birchwood. Visitation will be held from 4-6PM Friday at Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake. The family would like to thank Justin Sarbeck for helping her live life to the fullest right to the end.
