In Memory of Karl C. Wittmann


December 15, 1955 - December 31, 2023

Karl "K.C." Claude Wittmann, age 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 31, 2023.

K.C. was born to Karl and Claudia (Kaderabek) Wittmann on December 7, 1955, in Sussex, Wisconsin.

K.C. was an avid outdoorsman. Whether on the water or in the woods, he felt at peace in nature. He handcrafted fishing rods for those closest to him, and this interest eventually led him to establish a small business he was proud of. He was passionate about woodworking and enjoyed refinishing and creating furniture. K.C. Retired from Catalytic Combustion in Bloomer as an engineer and he took great pride in his job and work there.

He is preceded in death by his father, Karl Wittmann, and father-in-law, Wilbert Wintrone.

K.C. is survived by his wife, Tammy Wittmann, mother, Claudia Wittmann, mother-in-law, Joyce Wintrone, children, Trisha (Bob Downey) Welch, Karli (Gabriel) Reynolds, Heather (Caleb) Hakseth, Adam (Lauren) Wittmann, and Tiffany (Brandon) Davis, grandchildren, Brayden, Brooklynn, Ryder, Colten, Kameron, Bailey, Aubree, Makenna, Makinley, Pressli, Larkin, Emma, and Mason, and siblings, Amy Wittmann and Art (Sam) Wittmann, as well as many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Chetek Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 6, at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the service. The family invites those attending to a luncheon and time of remembrance in the church fellowship hall following the service.

Urn bearers will be Brayden Kelm, Ryder Hakseth, Colten Hakseth, and Kameron Davis.

The Burnham-Ours-Kolstad Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
