In Memory of Karen R. (Jaeschke) Perlberg
Karen Rae (Jaeschke) Perlberg passed away on December 25, 2024, in Chetek, Wisconsin, surrounded by her loving family.
Karen was born on November 14, 1962, to Shirley and Vernon Jaeschke in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Karen Perlberg, beloved wife of Jonathan Perlberg, married her high school sweetheart on September 15, 1985, in Beloit, Wisconsin. They spent the next 39 years together as partners and best friends pursuing their shared interests and following their dream of country living.
Karen was deeply passionate about horses, a love that shaped much of her life. As a devoted horse farm owner and enthusiastic hobbyist, she dedicated countless hours to caring for and nurturing them and her bond with them was profound. Karen had an immense love for all animals and always opened her heart to them. Karen played a vital role in her husband's construction business, serving as an office manager and bookkeeper. Karen's legacy is one of love, compassion, and commitment, and she will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Vernon Jaeschke.
Karen is survived by her husband, Jonathan Perlberg, mother, Shirley (Kottke) Jaeschke, sister, Lori (Conrad) Waagen, and nieces and nephews, James Hopkins IV, Heather Hopkins, and Samuel Hopkins, as well as many other loving family and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Visitation will begin at 10:00 and continue until the start of the service.
