In Memory of Karen Leverenz

June 20, 1946 - March 25, 2023

Karen Leverenz, an Amery resident of 56 years, died Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the age of 76.

She was a loving wife to Ron Leverenz (deceased); a loving mother to Tim Leverenz and Dana Leverenz (deceased); a loving grandmother to Melissa Shafer, Kinsey Norton, Jillian Norton, Samantha Leverenz, Katherine Leverenz, and her great grandchildren Ashlynn Behrman and Jaden Presley. Karen had two sisters Sharon Moen and Lynn Russo, and two brothers Dick Lairy and Tom Lairy (deceased). Karen worked at Wayne’s Café when she arrived in Amery in 1967 with her husband Ron finding a position at Fabri-tek. Karen later worked at Conrad’s sewing factory, the Amery Bakery, Polaris, and The Outside In before retiring. Karen cherished her family, friends and her flower gardens. Back in day, she was quite the bowler, snowmobiler, golfer and card player; she loved life and was content with her life decisions made.

“Good byes are not forever. Good byes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you, until we meet again.” Her loved ones will miss her greatly as her love for them was unconditional.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Williamson-White Funeral Home in Amery. A visitation will take place from 5 to 7 pm on Friday, March 31, 2023 at the funeral home, as well from 10 to 11 am prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will take place at the Amery Cemetery.
