Karen J. Brandt passed away Sunday, November 29, 2020, at the age of 82 years.

Karen was a lifelong creative spirit, pouring her boundless energy into painting and drawing in her earlier years and spending her last decades working in her Frederic studio, producing many, many beautiful quilts which found their way into households around the country. Karen was an avid reader and an enthusiastic supporter of the Frederic library. She also loved to cook!

Karen was preceded in death by her husband, Bayard Lee Brandt.

Karen is survived by her sons; Ross and Coe (Kathy) Billman, sisters; Jeanne Lindell and Zoe Meyer, brothers; John and Eric Lindell, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends.

Memorials preferred to the Frederic Library, Frederic Wisconsin.

Arrangements were entrusted to Swedberg-Taylor Funeral Home, Webster, Wisconsin.
