In Memory of Judy R. Kallenbach

May 23, 1947 - June 21, 2022

Judy Rae Kallenbach, 75, of Shell Lake died Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Care and Rehab-Cumberland.

She was born May 23, 1947, in Shell Lake, WI to Raymond and Lorraine (Block) Haremza.

Judy chose a life of adventure by becoming a dedicated military spouse, creating a loving home wherever the Air Force determined that would be. She was a stay-at-home mom and found time to volunteer for many different organizations, including being a coach for her kid’s sports teams. Her children were her passion.

She had a remarkable ability to make long lasting friendships and in her later years especially enjoyed hosting coffee get-togethers. Judy was a huge fan of Elvis and loved to ride around Shell Lake on her scooter or in her golf cart. If she wasn’t at the beach she was home tending to her plants and feeding the birds. Judy truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and especially loved being a grandma

She is survived by her daughters: Kim (Don) Kallenbach and Carrie (Jason) Thompson; son, Scott (Shannon) Kallenbach; four grandchildren: Tyler, Madeline, Mason, and Abby; mother, Lorraine Haremza; siblings: Mike (Helen) Haremza of Shell Lake; Steve (Karla) Haremza of Maumee, OH, and Deb (Dave) Ekern of Shell Lake; nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Ray Haremza; and brother, Pat Haremza.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Phil Juza officiating. Burial will be in Shell Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9-11 AM at the church.
