In Memory of Judy Colbert
Judy Ann Secore Colbert Age 73, of Rice Lake, WI died Friday, October 18, 2019 at Cambridge in Rice Lake.
She was born on August 31, 1946 in Rice Lake to Maurice and Lillian (Boetcher) Secore. After graduating from St. Joseph School in 1960 and Rice Lake High School in 1964. She was married to Gerald “Gerry” Colbert on May 21, 1966 in Rice Lake and was a commercial underwriter for various insurance companies. She enjoyed reading, shopping, cooking, baking, traveling, dancing and being with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Gerry” Colbert of Rice Lake; 3 children, Brian Colbert of Rice Lake, Valerie Michaels of Birchwood and Michael Colbert of Birchwood; 2 grandchildren, Eric Michaels and Laura (Austin) Workman; 4 sisters, Darla Jensen, Patty Davis, Mary Jo Mays and Susan Francis; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Lillian Secore.
A celebration of her life will be held at Lehmans Supper Club in Rice Lake from 11AM-3PM on Saturday, November 2, 2019, Father Ed Anderson officiating, with interment in the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spooner, WI.
Appleyard’s Home for Funerals in Rice Lake is in charge of the arrangements.
