In Memory of Judith J. Goetsch
Judy Goetsch, age 80, passed away peacefully on Sep 12, 2024 in Centuria, WI.
Judy was born in 1943 to Jean and Bill Patzen. She went to school at Custer High School in Milwaukee, WI and was married to Bruce Goetsch. She worked as a forklift operator at Master Lock in Milwaukee for over 30 years. She loved crafts and all things animals. She had an incredible sense for fashion and interior design. In younger years, she and Bruce were members of the Range Riders Snowmobile Club and loved planning winter adventures with friends. She enjoyed traveling and made countless spring break road trips to Florida as well as an unforgettable "girls' trip" to China with friends. She loved horses, and spent most days of their granddaughter's childhood driving to/from the "barn" for Angie's riding lessons or horse shows. Judy's favorite holiday was the 4th of July, and loved the tradition of attending the Big Bang fireworks display on July 3rd in Milwaukee with Bruce and Angie.
Judy Goetsch is survived by Dawn Brandt (daughter), Jody Mente (stepdaughter), Butch and Sue (sister) Strnad, Jim and Angie (granddaughter) Schottmuller, Carissa Brzezinski (granddaughter), Karlie Brzezinski (granddaughter), and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Judy is preceded in death by Bruce Goetsch (spouse), Jean Wappler (daughter), Jean and Bill Patzen (parents), and several pet dogs, cats, and horses.
The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Sophie's Manor and Adoray staff and volunteers for their patient loving care, pet visits, and nail/hair styling that Judy adored.
No funeral services will be held. Memorials may be given to this fundraiser to help fulfill Judy's last wishes: https://gofund.me/b826916d
