In Memory of Judith C. Gabrielson
Judith "Judy" Charlotte Gabrielson, 84, of Atlas, Wisconsin, passed away on December 13, 2024. Born on October 8, 1940 in Frederic, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Violet and Gordon Anderson.
Judy was raised on the family farm in Atlas, attended Luck High School and worked at the local paper, The Leader. She married David Charles Gabrielson, of Grantsburg, Wisconsin, in 1963, and together they raised three children in a loving home in Northeast Minneapolis and later Coon Rapids, Minnesota. She had a passion for her faith and found meaning in her involvement with Oak Hill Baptist Church.
In her free time, Judy enjoyed cross-stitching, solving crossword puzzles, and playing cards with family and friends. She had a passion for baking and always had fresh treats to share. Judy loved spending time with her family at her childhood home in Atlas, where she picked strawberries and raspberries with her parents during the summer.
In retirement, she returned to Atlas with David, where she enjoyed watching wildlife from their home and attending services at Trade Lake Baptist Church. Judy also found joy in her favorite pastimes with friends.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-one years, David Gabrielson; children Allen Gabrielson (Amy), Timothy Gabrielson (Lori) and Rebecca Masters (Jamison); six grandchildren; brother Larry Anderson (Joanne); and other beloved friends and family. She was preceded in death by parents Violet and Gordon Anderson.
A memorial service will be held at Trade Lake Baptist Church at a later date. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
