In Memory of Judith C. Becker

March 31, 1948 - February 20, 2024

Judith C. Becker, 75, passed away unexpectedly of a stroke on February 20, 2024 surrounded by family.

Judi was born on March 31, 1948 to Norman and Patricia Jensen in Rice Lake. Judi grew up in Barron, graduating from Barron High School in 1966.

Soon after high school, Judi moved to Webster, where she raised her pride and joy of her life, her two sons, Paul and Joe. While living in Webster, Judi was the secretary for St. John’s Catholic Church. Once Judi’s boys graduated high school, Judi moved to Eau Claire for her job as the Secretary to the Manager of the Eau Claire Airport. Later Judi transitioned to the Secretary to the Sheriff for Eau Claire County and eventually relocated to the Eau Claire County Finance Department where she retired in 2012.

Judi was a quiet soul who relished the simple pleasures in life. Judi was a spitfire in conversations with quick wit and a contagious sense of humor. She had an unconditional love for her sons Paul and Joe, as well as her grandchildren. Judi along with her sisters Patti and Mina made up a dynamic trio of unforgettable adventures, storytelling, and contagious laughter. Let’s not forget Judi’s brother-in-law Ronnie (Patti’s husband) who usually was this sister trio’s chauffer on their adventures.

Judi had a hidden artistic talent that many did not know. She had an amazing ability to sketch and draw. A creative talent of which she leaves behind some of her most beautiful artwork for family to cherish.

Judi was an enormous part of our lives. Her generous spirit and pleasant personality will never really leave us. Her simplicity and kindness will be remembered in our hearts always. She’ll eternally be, forever loved and forever missed.

Judi is survived by her two sons, Paul (Shannon) Becker of West Bend, WI and Joe (Nadine) Becker of Lino Lakes, MN; sisters, Mina Boury of Hudson, WI and Patricia (Ron) McIntyre of Osceola, WI; grandchildren, Journey, Traxton, Reagan and Nick (Lucas) along with many nieces and nephews.
